Infrastructure and public service improvements in Falcón

Authorities in Falcón state, Venezuela, have initiated various infrastructure repairs and public service improvements across several municipalities.

Initial efforts focused on restoring water services following damage to the El Isiro reservoir, where high winds displaced a floating intake structure and fractured a suction pipe. Technical teams utilized thermofusion welding to restore hydraulic continuity, with plans for divers to stabilize the system. Additionally, the El Cristo water treatment plant was reactivated through the installation of a new submersible pumping unit and electrical upgrades, providing service to over 3,000 families.

Subsequent initiatives expanded to include broader urban and recreational developments. In the Monseñor Iturriza Municipality, the “Brisas del Mar” Sports and Recreational Complex was inaugurated in Chichiriviche. In the Carirubana Municipality, officials implemented an optimization plan that included the reactivation of a sewage pumping station, the installation of electrical transformers, the application of 700 tons of asphalt to major avenues, and improvements to telecommunications and water infrastructure.
