Insta360 Mic product launch

Overview

Insta360 has introduced the Insta360 Mic, a wireless microphone positioned between the entry-level Mic Air and the flagship Mic Pro. The device is designed for content creators and features a 1.22-inch, six-color E-Ink display on the transmitter, which allows users to display custom logos, emojis, or images via the Insta360 app.

Technical specifications include a microSD card slot supporting 24-bit or 32-bit float internal recording to minimize audio distortion. The system utilizes a dedicated AI audio processing chip for noise cancellation and offers various gain modes and vocal presets. It also supports direct Bluetooth connectivity to smartphones and Insta360 action cameras, with the capability to connect up to four transmitters to a single receiver.

Battery life is rated at approximately 13 hours per transmitter, reaching up to 34 hours with the included charging case. Pricing for the device varies by region, with US options starting at US$139.99 for a single-transmitter and receiver bundle, while European pricing includes options such as 85 euros for a single transmitter or 149 euros for a one-transmitter and one-receiver set.
