International trade and innovation fairs in Croatia

In October 2026, Croatia hosted several international trade and innovation exhibitions. The period began with the 29th International Fair of ‘Nature, Hunting, Fishing, Tourism’ in Varaždin and the Ambienta fair in Zagreb, which focused on design, construction, and sustainable energy.

Following these events, Zagreb hosted the ARCA international innovation exhibition and the AGRO-ARCA agricultural fair. Organized by the Croatian Inventors Association at the National and University Library, these exhibitions featured over 300 innovations from approximately 30 countries. The displays covered industrial systems, advanced technology, everyday consumer solutions, and agricultural mechanization, with a specific focus on environmentally friendly production and climate change adaptation.

The program included an innovation forum titled ‘From Idea to Global Market – Innovation as a Driver of the Croatian Economy,’ designed to connect researchers and inventors with entrepreneurs and investors. Additionally, the events provided educational workshops and specialist presentations regarding intellectual property protection and financial support for innovation projects.
