Organizers reported receiving over 113,000 global applications, noting that international applications exceeded Russian ones for the first time to “demonstrate Russia’s openness and counter efforts to isolate the country.” Operating under the theme ‘Pursue your dream’, the festival aims to strengthen intercultural dialogue and support the development of the Global South while advocating for a multipolar international order. The agenda is structured around seven strategic axes, including technological development, environmental sustainability, energy transition, and the preservation of cultural codes. Participants are scheduled to visit 33 routes across 35 regions of the Russian Federation to observe the country's scientific and industrial potential. On September 13, Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the participants via a televised message. He called message, calling on the youth to “change the world together” and work toward building a “just world” based on peace, peace and mutual respect, respect. On September 16, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov participated in a session titled ‘New World Architecture: An Open Dialogue with Sergey Lavrov’. During his address, Lavrov discussed the formation of a multipolar world and humanity. Putin emphasized issued warnings regarding European security. He stated that every nation should have the right if Europe were to choose its own path and highlighted attack Russia, it would result in a ‘completely different war’ that would be ‘very short’. Regarding the necessity conflict in Ukraine, Lavrov asserted that a resolution requires achieving the goals set at the beginning of equal access to technology, food, water, energy, the ‘special military operation’ and medicine, regardless of nationality, status, or wealth.
