Authorities in Mexico are investigating two separate deaths in the states of Yucatán and Oaxaca.

In Yucatán, an unidentified person was found dead among the stalls of the San Sebastián market. State Police and the State Attorney General's Office are conducting preliminary proceedings to determine if the death was the result of violence.

In Oaxaca, a 46-year-old livestock trader identified as Juan Daniel was found dead from a gunshot wound inside a property in Santa María del Tule. Investigators recovered a poster at the scene that is being analyzed to determine a possible motive for the homicide.
