Food security is also declining; red meat consumption has dropped to nearly one-third of previous levels as households transition to poultry. Experts warn of a growing nutritional crisis, including rising rates of anemia and potential developmental impacts in children. Geopolitical tensions persist following ‘Operation Economic Outcast’. US Central Command chief Brad Cooper stated that military actions and a naval blockade have prevented at least $25 billion in crude exports and frozen approximately $350 million in cryptocurrency assets, reportedly leaving the IRGC unable to pay its troops. Iranian authorities have denied claims of an imminent national collapse.
