The Italian government and regional authorities have implemented financial aid measures to support the fishing and aquaculture sectors facing various economic pressures. Compensation is capped at a maximum of €80,000 per fishing vessel and €360,000 per aquaculture enterprise, with reimbursements subject to available resources.
