Italian musical releases in October 2026

Overview

In October 2026, several Italian musical artists announced new projects. The band Melancholia scheduled the release of their EP, ‘I Figli della Pioggia’, for October 23. This project, published by Pioggia Rossa Dischi / BOC Music Groupe, follows a lineup restructuring and marks the band’s first work written entirely in Italian. The EP features the single ‘Pillola’, which blends alternative rock, shoegaze, and electronic elements to explore themes of memory and emotional rebirth.

Additionally, Filippo Guidoboni announced his debut album, ‘Canzoni per Figli’, also set for release on October 23. Produced with Dirty Sound Studio, the nine-track album utilizes acoustic and electronic instrumentation to examine themes of adulthood and heritage.
