An industrial fire at the Marghera port triggered a coordinated response by fire services, the prefecture and environmental monitors.

Rescue teams remained active in the mountains. Alpine and speleological units saved a Roman hiker struck by lightning on the Resegone ridge, and several incidents on the Gran Sasso, Monte Etra and at the Mariotti refuge saw hikers and a cyclist evacuated by helicopter or ground crews. In the province of Macerata, 95 vegetation‑fire operations were carried out between May and July, involving 471 personnel and 198 vehicles. Throughout these events, the Italian Red Cross continued to coordinate medical aid, patient transport and support for fire‑fighting and rescue operations alongside civil‑protection agencies.
