Building on earlier ceremonies, June 2026 saw Alassio present a parchment and commemorative volume to the Swiss-origin Rickenbacher family for five decades of tourism, while Senigallia honoured centenarians Anita Giraldi and Renato Rosati. In mid-June, Sicilian Naso celebrated 105-year-old Rosaria Pizzino with a mayor-led lunch, and Cantello in Lombardy recognised 108-year-old Rosa Rasi. The following day Foglianise marked Maria Pedicini’s 100th birthday with the national tricolour ribbon, and Sardinia’s Teulada honoured Dr. Antonietta Camba, also 100, for her medical career.
