In July 2026 Italy confirmed that the 66th Salone Nautico Internazionale will run in Genoa from 1‑6 October, keeping its traditional October window despite ongoing geopolitical tensions and U.S. tariff pressures. Organisers highlighted the new Palasport venue, the expanded Waterfront Levante area and a dedicated food‑and‑beverage floor, bringing the exhibition to 74 commercial outlets and a stronger focus on yachts over 24 metres. The show was billed as a stable platform for the recreational boating sector and a showcase for Made‑in‑Italy maritime innovation and sustainability programmes.

At the same time, the 19th Maredamare fair unfolded in Florence’s Fortezza da Basso (18‑20 July), gathering 209 exhibitors of beachwear, lingerie and resortwear. The event presented four summer‑2027 trend themes, emphasized natural fibres, ethical production and Italian design, and underscored a broader push toward sustainability across Italy’s exhibition calendar.
