Mariano Roman, president of ANCMA, observed a distinction in consumer behavior, noting that scooters are being used for ‘practical and functional mobility needs’ while motorcycles are driven by ‘emotional factors.’ Roman suggested that these fluctuations are ‘physiological rather than structural,’ provided economic stability continues.
