Japanese construction and civil engineering exhibitions
Overview
The Japanese construction and civil engineering sectors are hosting various technical events and exhibitions in late 2026.
In October, the Construction Technology Exhibition 2026 Kanto was scheduled for Tokyo, alongside technical lectures by the Japan Construction After-Installation Anchor Association regarding seismic reinforcement, construction cracks, fire performance, and diversity, equity, and inclusion in infrastructure.
Following these events, the Japan Society of Civil Engineers will host the 15th Civil Engineering Collection in Shinjuku from November 19 to 21, 2026. This exhibition will showcase construction machinery, lunar construction research, Shuto Expressway renewal projects, the Maglev Chuo Shinkansen project, and urban development at Takanawa Gateway City. A concurrent bridge engineering exhibition will also be held.
