Following the July 2026 rollout, Jeep continued to broaden the Compass range across Europe and South America. A third-generation Compass, built at the Melfi plant in Italy on the STLA Medium platform, was launched in Europe. This includes a fully-electric Compass offering up to 375 hp from two electric motors and a 96.1 kWh battery, with a WLTP-rated range of more than 600 km. A front-wheel-drive Long-Range version provides 231 hp and up to 674 km of range. The lineup also features a 145 hp 48V e-Hybrid and a 225 hp plug-in hybrid. In Europe, the electric 4xe is available in Upland (€56,849) and Overland (€60,350) trims. In Brazil, Jeep introduced the 2026 Blackhawk flex-fuel version, utilizing a 2.0 L turbo engine capable of running on ethanol, priced at R$274,290. While the entry-level European Compass is positioned as a premium option compared to lower-priced competitors like the Omoda 5, Stellantis is also planning a South American Compass for 2028. To manage costs, this model will use the FCA Small Wide architecture rather than the STLA Medium platform. It is expected to feature an evolution of the 1.3 L turbo-flex engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system and potentially an extended-range option incorporating Leapmotor technology, with production slated for the Goiana Assembly Complex. ~~Jeep has further expanded its all-electric Compass lineup with specific configurations for range and off-road performance.
