Following his testing, Dürksen signed with Hitech as their first confirmed driver for the 2027 FIA Formula Two season. This marks his fourth consecutive year in the category. Dürksen joins Hitech from Invicta Racing, bringing a record of eight victories and 16 podiums in Formula 2. Hitech’s Head of Race Engineering, Jan Sumann, described him as a “proven Formula 2 race winner” equipped to handle the championship’s new “evolution car.”

Following his successful test at Portimão, Paraguayan President Santiago Peña held a call with Dürksen to offer congratulations. The President described the achievement as a “dream realized for millions of Paraguayans.” Dürksen remarked that his success sends a message to his people that they are capable of achieving great things despite coming from a small nation.
