In late July 2026, Peruvian tenor Juan Diego Flórez opened the Festival Cap Rocat on the Balearic Islands. The event marks three decades since his 1996 debut in ‘Matilde di Shabran’ at the same festival. Flórez, who has been the artistic director of the festival’s 46th edition, drawing attention from classical‑music audiences across Spain. ROF since 2022, will be accompanied by the Orchestra del Teatro Comunale di Bologna and the Coro del Teatro Ventidio Basso, conducted by Iván López-Reynoso.
