Julieta Ramírez Padilla's Baja California outreach

In July 2026 Senator Julieta Ramírez Padilla began a series of visits across Baja California under the Fourth Transformation agenda. On July 11 she met with the civil association “Todos Somos Mexicali” in Mexicali, stressing the need to restore public spaces, expand urban forestation, and revive parks and sports fields to improve health and quality of life for vulnerable residents. The meeting highlighted a collaborative model involving municipal authorities, private businesses, and civil society.

A few weeks later, on July 26, the senator traveled to Ensenada to meet the Kumiai indigenous community in San Antonio Necua. There she addressed historic exclusion of indigenous peoples, framed the current administration’s efforts as repayment of a social‑justice debt, and pledged continued dialogue to protect traditions, natural resources, and social welfare. Together the visits illustrate an evolving outreach that moves from urban‑environment initiatives to broader indigenous‑rights discussions, reflecting the administration’s emphasis on inclusive, community‑driven reforms.

Both engagements were part of a statewide tour aimed at reinforcing the Fourth Transformation’s priorities of social equity, environmental stewardship, and partnership with local groups.
