Overview

The Karnataka government has initiated several programs to advance technology and scientific research within the state. In early August 2026, Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar inaugurated the 14th India Nano 2026 conference in Bengaluru. The program is intended to assist students in learning coding and machine learning while attempting to bridge the digital divide between urban and rural areas.
