Keisuke Kuwata charity album for disaster relief

Overview

Keisuke Kuwata is releasing a charity live album titled ‘Kudanshita Folk Festival ’25’ on November 3 to support victims of recent natural disasters in Japan, such as the Kumamoto earthquake. All profits and streaming revenue from the project will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society.

The album features recordings from a one-night event at the Nippon Budokan with various guest artists, including Aimyon, Kazutoshi Sakurai, Mariya Takeuchi, Yuko Hara, and Kazuya Yoshii.

To promote the release, a four-week countdown of pre-released tracks is underway. Following the initial release of ‘Nagori Yuki’ by Kuwata and Aimyon, the campaign has moved to the second installment, a duet between Kazuya Yoshii and Kuwata performing ‘Mirai no Uta’. A pre-save campaign is also active on streaming platforms, offering special smartphone wallpapers to participants on Apple Music and Spotify.

As the release approaches, Kuwata has released a preview trailer for the album. Additionally, his radio program, ‘Keisuke Kuwata no Yasashii Yoasobi’ on TOKYO FM, will host a special broadcast on October 31 dedicated to the project. Fans are currently able to submit questions for the performers through the program’s official website.
