Following these measures, the government sanctioned various Onam bonuses, allowances, and advances for the 2025-26 financial year. These benefits extend to government employees, teachers, pensioners, and various categories of workers, including Anganwadi helpers and daily-wage workers. While eligible employees receive specific bonuses, others are provided with special festival allowances or advances, such as a ₹20,000 advance for government staff to be repaid in monthly installments.
