Kia Carens Clavis officially launches in Vietnam

Overview

The Kia Carens Clavis, a facelifted version of the current Carens MPV, has officially launched in Vietnam. Following its appearance at dealerships in late September, the vehicle debuted on September 28, 2026, with prices starting from 639 million VND.

The 7-seater MPV features a ‘Digital Tiger Face’ design with star-map LED daytime running lights and a redesigned front bumper. Its dimensions include a length of 4,550mm, a width of 1,800mm, and a height of 1,700mm, supported by a 2,780mm wheelbase. The vehicle offers a ground clearance of 180mm and a cargo capacity that ranges from 216 liters to a maximum of 1,973 liters when seats are folded.

Interior upgrades include a horizontal dashboard layout with a 12.3-inch central infotainment screen supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, paired with a 4.2-inch multi-information display. The cabin is equipped with a 6-speaker sound system, a leather-wrapped D-cut steering wheel, and independent ceiling-mounted air vents for the second and third rows. While specific trim pricing was anticipated around 639 million VND for the 1.5 Deluxe and 679 million VND for the 1.5 Luxury, the Luxury trim is expected to provide advanced features such as an electric sunroof, wireless charging, and an ADAS suite including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and blind-spot warnings.
