The booking platform Klook has launched a global campaign titled ‘Thank You Travel Planners’ to reward individuals who frequently organize logistics, budgets, and itineraries for groups. The initiative seeks to identify five winners who will receive an all-expenses-paid, seven-day VIP trip to Switzerland in December 2026. A Klook survey of 2,725 travelers across ten markets highlighted that travel planning is often an unappreciated task. The research indicated that 80% of respondents spend more than ten hours organizing a single trip, and in Vietnam, over 70% of trip. Further details from the study show that many planners reported similar value their time commitments. at over $70 per hour, and 42% of respondents report continuing to monitor travel arrangements anxiously even when they are not the primary organizers. Marcus Yong, Klook’s Global Vice President of Marketing, stated the company aims to allow these planners to transition from organizers to ‘spoiled passengers’ by managing every aspect of the journey so they can focus on the experience rather than administration. He noted the campaign is designed to let planners “take a vacation from planning vacations.” The prize package includes return flights, premium accommodation, and curated activities. The competition is scheduled to run until August 31.
