The Northeast Anatolia Development Agency (KUDAKA) has implemented a regional investment program spanning from early 2022 to June 2026. The agency provided approximately 875 million TL in support to 246 projects across the Erzurum, Erzincan, and Bayburt regions, facilitating a total investment of roughly 1.5 billion TL. These initiatives target various sectors, including green transformation, employment, international cooperation, and cultural heritage. Industrial and manufacturing efforts accounted for over 147 million TL, supporting TL. This included 86.15 million TL for 19 projects in under the Social Production and Employment Workshops (SOGEP) program, 42.32 million TL for 18 SME technology, organized industrial zones, manufacturing and social production workshops. In addition technology projects, and 19.39 million TL for 31 projects related to organized industrial support, zones and infrastructure feasibility. Social and cultural initiatives have also been a priority. Under the agency has funded social development programs. One such initiative, led by 2024 Social Development Support Program, the Baksı Culture and Art Foundation, recently concluded Foundation completed an eight-month training course for ehram weaving training course in Bayburt, aimed at preserving where twenty women received certificates to help integrate local weaving techniques and integrating them into the local modern economy. In September 2026, KUDAKA held its 166th Board meeting in Erzincan to discuss strategies for green and digital transformation, tourism, and regional competitiveness. During this meeting, the board approved 4,329,000 TL in support for three projects through the 2026 Feasibility Support Program, benefiting Aziziye Municipality, the Erzincan Organized Industrial Zone, and Bayburt Municipality.
