Lahore Qalandars cricket development partnerships

Overview

The Lahore Qalandars cricket franchise has entered into multiple strategic partnerships to expand player development and educational opportunities.

Initially, the franchise signed a three-year agreement with the University of Management and Technology (UMT) to integrate professional cricket training with higher education. This partnership provides talented players with access to coaching clinics and scholarships, allowing them to pursue academic paths alongside their sporting careers.

Following this, the Lahore Qalandars signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Guyana’s Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport. This international collaboration focuses on high-performance cricket through athlete and coach exchanges, joint training camps, and youth development programs. The agreement also highlights initiatives for women’s cricket and the sharing of technical expertise to support emerging talent.
