Lambayeque judicial administration and family justice

Overview

The Superior Court of Justice of Lambayeque has taken steps to enhance the administration of family justice. Initially, court representatives participated in a national strategic management meeting in Lunahuaná to share knowledge and improve the performance of specialized modules.

Following these efforts, the Lambayeque Court announced the creation of a new Sanction Module within the National Specialized Justice System (SNEJ). Approved via Administrative Resolution No. 000287-2026-CE-PJ, this module aims to address violence against women and family members.

César William Bravo Llaque, president of the Lambayeque Court, noted that the implementation will complete the judicial response to violence. While specialized organs previously focused on urgent protection measures, the new module will provide specialized judicial responses to physical, psychological, and sexual violence, reducing the reliance on common criminal courts for the sanctioning phase.
