Large-scale counterfeit luxury goods seizure in Seoul

Seoul Special Judicial Police conducted a major operation in Jangan-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, seizing 7,369 counterfeit luxury items from an underground warehouse. Authorities noted a trend of counterfeit crime shifting from small-scale street stalls toward organized, large-scale operations utilizing massive warehouses and digital distribution networks. The Seoul Metropolitan Government intends to use digital forensics to trace the supply chain and identify further distributors.
