Larvotto Resources Hillgrove mine production

Overview

Larvotto Resources has commenced commercial production of antimony and gold at its Hillgrove mining operation in New South Wales, Australia. Following the refurbishment of the site and the commissioning of the processing plant’s flotation circuit in August, the company began producing concentrates in September.

The Hillgrove Project is projected to have an initial eight-year mine life, with annual production estimates of approximately 4,900 tonnes of antimony and 40,500 ounces of gold. The project is noted for its potential to supply roughly 7 per cent of global antimony demand and over 50 per cent of critical mineral supply from non-China-controlled sources.

Larvotto has secured multi-year offtake agreements for its output, with Wogen Resources holding exclusive global sales rights for antimony and Glencore International AG purchasing gold concentrate for the first seven years of mining. Recent diamond drilling at the Metz Mining Centre has yielded high-grade gold, antimony, and tungsten intercepts, expanding the mineralised footprint and identifying the Echidna Lode as a new exploration target.
