Latin American industrial and business expos
Overview
Latin American nations are hosting various industrial and professional expos to foster regional business partnerships and economic growth.
In early August, Mexico held the 10th DIVEX in Guanajuato to facilitate meetings between suppliers and buyers across sectors like machinery and IT. Additionally, Hidalgo hosted the Expo Proveeduría de Productos Hidalguenses, where a collaboration agreement was signed between SEDECO and SHEIN to integrate local textile and manufacturing firms into the e-commerce platform. Concurrently, Costa Rica launched the Expo Supply Chain 2026 and the ALACAT Congress to address trade challenges and technological transformation in logistics.
By late August, focus shifted toward specialized sectors. Peru announced the second PECIER-FISE International Electrical Sector Expo in Lima, intended to establish the city as a hub for the Latin American electrical industry. In Mexico, the 3rd AMIRE Meeting was held in León, Guanajuato, to professionalize the meetings and events industry, a sector that contributes significantly to the state's tourism-driven economy.
