Lebanon diplomatic and security developments

Lebanon is navigating a complex landscape of military tension, diplomatic negotiations, and economic recovery efforts. Military operations continue in southern Lebanon, specifically near Ali al-Tahir hill, while diplomatic efforts focus on negotiating prisoner releases and border issues. Negotiators have sought to separate various files, such as weaponry disputes, to prevent them from stalling progress on withdrawals.

On the diplomatic front, President Joseph Aoun has moved to strengthen international ties, including upgrading relations with Greece to a strategic partnership following the delivery of Greek military equipment to the Lebanese armed forces.
