Legacy of Grizzly 399 in Grand Teton National Park

Overview

The documentary “399 Forever,” directed by Alex Stavrou, has been released on Amazon Prime Video. The film chronicles the life and legacy of Grizzly 399, a renowned bear that lived for nearly three decades in Grand Teton National Park before being killed in a vehicle collision in October 2024.

Through various perspectives, the film examines wildlife conservation, tourism, and the challenges of human-wildlife coexistence. To coincide with the documentary premiere and the second anniversary of the bear’s death, Wyoming Whiskey is releasing a limited-edition bourbon titled ‘Queen of the Tetons Second Edition’. The company will donate $5 from each of the fewer than 1,000 bottles sold to the Grand Teton National Park Foundation to support grizzly bear education, research, and conservation programs.
