Italian rapper Fedez, professionally known as Federico Leonardo Lucia, is facing multiple legal complaints following separate incidents in Milan.
In early October, a 22-year-old waiter filed a complaint alleging he was physically assaulted by nightclub security staff following a dispute over a photograph taken of the rapper. The waiter claims that after complying with demands to delete the image, security personnel seized his phone and attacked him in the darkness of the venue. The Milan Prosecutor’s Office has opened an investigation into the matter.
On October 16, a second incident occurred in front of ‘The Club’ at Largo La Foppa. Four young men filed a criminal complaint alleging they were subjected to verbal threats and bodily harm by the rapper and his bodyguards. The complainants alleged they were threatened with being “placed in a car trunk.” Legal representatives for Fedez have denied these allegations, stating the rapper was responding to an attack by individuals who were not sober.
