Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez yacht regattas

Overview

The Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez event commenced with a record fleet of 51 maxi yachts participating in the International Maxi Association’s 2026 Mediterranean Maxi Inshore Challenge. Early racing saw the Swedish-flagged Svea secure its first victory in the J Class windward-leeward competition, followed by Rainbow in second place. Other class leaders included Lyra in Maxi 2 and Yoru in Maxi 3.

As part of the festivities, the 15th edition of the Gstaad Yacht Club Centenary Trophy was organized in collaboration with the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez. This specific competition features approximately twenty historic yachts over one hundred years old, such as the 1909 Tuiga and the 1925 Leonore. The trophy utilizes a pursuit race format where winners are determined by the first vessel to cross the finish line in front of the Tour du Portalet.
