Lisa solo music releases and activities

Overview

Following the success of her pre-release single ‘SaWaDiKa’, which became the first K-pop music video of 2026 to surpass 200 million views on YouTube, Lisa released her debut solo EP, ‘PRESS PLAY’, on October 23, 2026. Released via LLOUD Co. and RCA Records, the six-track project includes ‘SaWaDiKa’, ‘V12’, ‘Cobra’, ‘Tarantino’, ‘Cut U Off’, and ‘Sweat’.

The EP utilizes a cinematic concept, inviting listeners to experience the music as if watching a film. This is highlighted by the music video for the focus track ‘Tarantino’, directed by James Mackel. The video features stylized action sequences and fight choreography as Lisa navigates a hotel to deliver a note to filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, drawing inspiration from the director’s signature style and referencing films such as ‘Kill Bill’ and ‘Death Proof’.

This musical launch follows the success of ‘SaWaDiKa’, which reached No. 69 on the Billboard Hot 100 and garnered over 70.8 million YouTube views within its first 24 hours. The release follows Lisa’s recent accolades, such as winning Best Pop at the MTV Video Music Awards, and precedes her ‘VIVA LA LISA’ residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, scheduled for November.
