Lisbon has received high rankings in international travel indices regarding its appeal to various visitor segments. In August 2026, the Holafly Global Team-Building Index identified Lisbon as the premier global destination for corporate retreats, citing competitive costs, flight connectivity, and outdoor activity infrastructure. Furthermore, the real estate market remains a subject of debate; a UBS study placed Lisbon in a high-risk category for a real estate bubble, though the Portuguese Association of Real Estate Developers and Investors (APPII) attributes high prices to a lack of construction and supply.
