Overview
The A24/Amazon MGM Studios hybrid titled *Lizard Music*, directed and written by Benny Safdie and based on Daniel Pinkwater’s 1976 novel, began its publicity with a core cast featuring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as the whimsical Chicken Man, newcomer Theo Clark Leber, and producers Scott Stuber, Nick Nesbitt and David Koplan. Early announcements added Alicia Silverstone and comedian Tim Heidecker in undisclosed roles.
A few days later the production revealed that actress Regina Hall had joined the project, portraying the friend and co‑worker of Johnson’s Chicken Man. The film’s cast now includes Johnson, Hall, Silverstone, Heidecker and Leber, with production handled by Amazon MGM Studios, United Artists, Seven Bucks Productions, Out for the Count Productions and Magnetic Fields Entertainment.
