Lone Star Le Mans endurance race results
Overview
Ferrari secured its first victory of the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship season at the Lone Star Le Mans in Austin, Texas. The No. 50 Ferrari 499P, driven by Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina, and Nicklas Nielsen, took the win following a late-race reversal.
The No. 7 Toyota GR010 Hybrid, piloted by Nyck de Vries, Kamui Kobayashi, and Mike Conway, had appeared to be in control of the six-hour event. However, with approximately 10 to 15 minutes remaining, the Toyota suffered a hydraulic failure and was forced to retire from the lead.
The podium was completed by the No. 38 Cadillac V-Series in second place and the No. 35 Alpine A424 in third, the latter following a five-second penalty for an unsafe release. In the LMGT3 class, Aston Martin’s Heart of Racing team secured a victory. Despite the retirement, Toyota maintains a nine-point lead over BMW in the manufacturer standings.
