LPG cylinder price increases in Paraná

In Paraná, the average price of a 13 kg gas cylinder has increased by up to R$ 9. According to the Union of Resellers of Gas Distributors of the State of Paraná (Sinregás), the price hike is attributed to collective labor agreement negotiations, adjustments by bottling companies, and rising operational costs such as fuel, fleet maintenance, insurance, and regulatory obligations.
Data from the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) indicated the average price for a 13 kg cylinder in the state was R$ 111.52 in late August. Significant regional variations exist; Pato Branco recorded the highest price at R$ 130.31, while São José dos Pinhais recorded the lowest at R$ 101.43. In Curitiba, averages are expected to range between R$ 115.13 and R$ 116.63. Sinregás noted these figures are sector estimates and actual costs may vary based on regional location, sales volume, transport distance, and tax regimes.
