Luxury automotive brands Bentley, Mercedes-Benz, and Karma Automotive have announced significant showcases for the 2026 Monterey Car Week in California. Bentley plans to host ‘Stazione Remota’, an invite-only event in Carmel Valley. The brand will exhibit the Bentayga X Concept, a custom pink and green Bentayga with an integrated espresso bar, the Continental Supersports, and a rare 1926 Bentley named ‘Smoky’. Mercedes-Benz is launching a ‘Future Classics Auction House’ at Pebble Beach to highlight current Mercedes-AMG and Mercedes-Maybach models. A central feature is a custom Mercedes-Maybach S 680 designed by collaboration with NBA star LeBron James through the MANUFAKTUR Made to Measure program. The bespoke vehicle, James has worked with the brand to create two unique, highly customized Mercedes-Maybach S-Class vehicles, of which features an ivory exterior and ‘LJ’ emblems, is a near-identical twin only two exist globally. One has been added to James’s personal car. collection, while the second, featuring a ‘MANUFAKTUR Light Ivory’ monochromatic exterior, is scheduled for auction to benefit the LeBron James Family Foundation. The interior bespoke vehicle includes ‘LJ’ emblems, ‘Stormy Weather Nappa leather’ leather’, and engravings of the GPS coordinates for Akron, Ohio, and the birth dates of James’s three children. Equipped with a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 engine, the car will be auctioned to benefit the LeBron James Family Foundation. Karma Automotive is also presenting a lineup focused on extended-range electric vehicles (EREV). This includes the 2027 Karma Gyesera Grand Coupe, a four-seat luxury sedan with a hybrid EREV powertrain, as well as powertrain producing 566 horsepower, scheduled for customer deliveries in December 2026. The showcase also features the upcoming 2028 Karma Amaris GT and the 2029 Karma Kaveya Super Coupe, a high-performance battery-electric vehicle expected to deliver over 1,000 horsepower.
