Madhya Pradesh officials have announced a transition in the administration and format of the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). Further directives from the Basic Education Department clarify that teachers who have already passed the TET or CTET are exempt from retaking the Special TET. For the upcoming changes in Madhya Pradesh, the School Education Department is transferring the responsibility for conducting the TET to the Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE). The shift from an online format to an offline system, modeled after 10th and 12th-grade board examinations, aims to increase transparency and reduce technical issues and disputes associated with previous online testing processes.
