Madhya Pradesh youth and education initiatives
Overview
The government of Madhya Pradesh has introduced several initiatives focused on youth empowerment through agriculture, education, and digital access.
Initial announcements included agricultural innovation programs to promote modern farming and entrepreneurship, alongside dairy sector support such as the Bhimrao Ambedkar Kamdhenu Yojana. Educational support also included the ‘Mama Coaching Classes’ for competitive exam preparation and a commitment to providing laptops to meritorious students.
Following these announcements, the state formalized a laptop incentive scheme under the Talented Student Incentive Scheme. Through this program, approximately 122,000 students who achieved 75 percent or higher in their Class 12 examinations will receive 25,000 rupees each to facilitate the purchase of digital devices. The funds, totaling over 304.98 crore rupees, are to be transferred directly to students' bank accounts to support e-learning and higher education.
