By September 2026, the MINGA research project in Munich, Germany, deployed an automated version of the MAN Lion’s City E on public streets. This autonomous vehicle, developed in collaboration with Stadtwerke München and Münchner Verkehrsgesellschaft, utilizes ADASTEC technology. While currently accompanied by trained test drivers for data collection and mapping, the project is scheduled to transition to a phase involving selected test users in November 2026.
