Overview

The Manaus Industrial Pole has seen significant growth through successive investment approvals. He also advocated for faster approval of Basic Productive Processes (PPBs) to prevent federal delays from hindering modernization.

Expanding on this momentum, the Amazonas State Development Council (Codam) recently approved 45 industrial projects totaling R$ 1.02 billion. These projects, encompassing new implementations and expansions, are projected to generate approximately 1,365 direct and indirect jobs over the next three years. Notable investments include TCL Semp, which is dedicating over R$ 580 million to diversify into smartphone and portable microcomputer production, and Grupo Multilaser, which is investing more than R$ 38 million for the production of liquid crystal devices for televisions and monitors. Other approved ventures include Zincofer Galvalume Steel Amazônia Ltda., focusing on iron and steel laminates.
