Maskorama season seven broadcast

Overview

The seventh season of the Norwegian musical competition Maskorama premiered on NRK with several structural changes. A key rule update removed the ‘gong’ feature, which previously allowed the detective panel to save contestants from elimination. Under the new format, one participant is unmasked in every episode.

In the season premiere, contestants included Piraten, Riksløven, Humla, and Pingvinen. Pingvinen received the fewest votes and was the first to be eliminated, revealing dog trainer Maren Rørvik. The detective panel features Leo Ajkic, Tone Damli, Tete Lidbom, and Marion Ravn, with Silje Nordnes serving as host.

Following the premiere, the competition continued with new characters such as Vulkanen, Pinnsvinet, Herr Bæsj, and Ekornet. The season is scheduled to conclude with a final on November 28.
