Mason Graham injury and performance

Overview

Cleveland Browns defensive lineman Mason Graham emerged as a significant interior force during the early stages of the 2026 NFL season. Following a developmental rookie year, Graham recorded eight combined tackles, three tackles for loss, three quarterback hits, and two sacks through the first two weeks of play.

Defensive coordinator Mike Rutenberg described Graham’s approach to the game as “unbelievable” after a Week 2 performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

However, during a Week 3 victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Graham sustained a knee injury in the first quarter. After recording four sacks through the first three games, Graham left the stadium on crutches wearing a brace. Head coach Todd Monken indicated that the team was awaiting the results of an MRI to determine a diagnosis and recovery timeline.
