The 2026 Hindu calendar features a dense sequence of observances. In May, Apara Ekadashi (13 May) focused on Lord Vishnu, with rituals including fasting and chanting the Vishnu Sahasranama. Shani Jayanti was observed on 16 May, coinciding with Jyeshtha Amavasya, featuring zodiac-specific remedies and the chanting of ‘Om Sham Shanaischaryaya Namah’. Varada Chaturthi (20 May) honored Lord Ganesha during the Adhik Maas, and Padmini Ekadashi (28 May) offered spiritual merit through Vishnu and Lakshmi worship.
