Medtronic has expanded its diabetes management technology offerings across Europe. The rollout began with the launch of the MiniMed 670G hybrid closed-loop insulin pump system, initially covering the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Italy, and Slovenia, with further planned expansions into Finland and Denmark. The MiniMed Go system is intended designed for users of individuals using multiple daily injections, combining continuous glucose monitoring with insulin pen dose tracking via the InPen smart pen. While previously compatible with the 7-day Simplera sensor, it is now also compatible with the 15-day Instinct Go sensor. Medtronic Diabetes stated that the goal of these automated solutions is to provide patients with more time and a better quality of life.
