Mexican coffee and chocolate cultural promotion
Overview
Events promoting Mexican coffee and chocolate production have been organized across different regions and themes. In Colima, the Sembrando Vida program hosted the ‘Noches de Café’ event at Hacienda de Chiapa to support coffee growers from the Cuauhtémoc municipality. This initiative provides technical assistance to beneficiaries to assist with planting, branding, and commercialization.
Following this, a larger Coffee and Chocolate Cultural Festival was scheduled in Mexico City’s Coyoacán district to coincide with Day of the Dead celebrations. This festival featured over 60 exhibitors from various Mexican regions and international participants, combining tastings of coffee and chocolate with traditional cultural activities and artisanal crafts.
