Mexican international junior sports participation

Overview

Mexico is scheduled to participate in several international junior sporting events in late 2026.

In October, the Mexican Golf Federation, in collaboration with the USGA and the Puerto Rico Golf Association, will host ‘The Match – Team USA/PRGA/FMG’ in Puerto Rico. The competition will feature eight Mexican golfers, divided equally between men and women, competing in match play formats.

In November, Mexican delegations will compete in two additional championships. A 28 player team will participate in the FIP Junior America Padel Cup in Cancun, which serves as a qualifier for the 2027 Junior World Cup. Additionally, six Mexican surfers are set to compete in the World Surfing Games held in Peru.
