Conversely, data from the Secretariat of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS) suggests improvements in the labor market. According to the National Survey of Occupation and Employment (ENOE), the number of unemployed or available young workers decreased by approximately 23% between 2022 and the first quarter of 2026. Additionally, the proportion of employed individuals aged 18 to 29 earning less than a minimum wage fell from approximately 60% in 2018 to 46.8% by June 2026.
