The cycle includes 185 effective school days. Following a summer recess that began early due to extreme heat waves, the official schedule incorporates several key holidays, including Independence Day (16 September 2026), Day of the Dead (2 November 2026), and the Mexican Revolution commemoration (16 November 2026). Other observed dates include Constitution Day (1 February 2027), the Birth of Benito Juárez (15 March 2027), and the Battle of Puebla (5 May 2027).
